Referral marketing disclosure
Who runs this site, who does the work on your door, and how money moves between the two. Answered one question at a time.

Who am I actually calling?
You are calling Austin Garage Door Tech, a marketing and booking site for garage door work in Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Dripping Springs and Bastrop. The line is picked up at any hour by an automated assistant that takes your name, number and what the door is doing, and then a person follows up. The person who comes to the house is an independent garage door technician who takes jobs through us; the site's operator does not do the repair.
How is the technician chosen?
By the kind of job, where the property is, and who in the network is free that day. A spring job in Leander goes to someone already working the north side; a commercial roll-up in East Austin goes to someone set up for it. Ask who is coming and we tell you before anyone is scheduled.
Does the site get paid when I book?
Sometimes. When a call or a form leads to work, the technician may pay us a referral or advertising fee. That is an arrangement between the technician and us. It does not add to the price you are quoted, and the technician's written figure is the figure you pay.
Why are calls recorded and pages counted?
So we know which pages and which sources bring real enquiries. Calls carry a recording notice at the start; the visit counter uses no cookies and builds no profile. Our privacy policy lists what is kept and who sees it. None of this measurement changes your price.
Can I get a second opinion?
Yes, and nobody here will try to talk you out of it. Comparing two written prices for a new door or an opener is sensible. If you go elsewhere after we have sent someone, there is nothing to pay us.
What should I ask the technician?
What insurance they carry, and to see the certificate. Technicians in the network are independent and hold their own policies and their own warranty terms; Texas has no state licence for this trade, so the certificate and the written agreement are the two documents that matter. Read the agreement before you sign it.
Where might I have seen this site?
In a search result or in a paid advertisement. Any outside service we use to run or measure that advertising is given only what it needs to do its job and nothing about you personally.
How do I find out who would handle my job?
Ask. Call (737) 265-6723 or email hello@austingaragedoortech.com and say you want to know whether a referral is involved and how to reach the technician directly. It is an easier question to answer before the visit than to leave hanging after it.
